Advanced Micro Peripherals’ sub credit-card sized microMPEG4 4-channel MPEG-4 video compression module uses the 32bit mini PCI form factor. microMPEG4 provides low power, high performance MPEG-4 compression of up to 4 concurrent live analogue PAL/NTSC video/audio inputs to full D1 resolution, plus stored video playback and simultaneous live preview.
microMPEG4 is ideal for space constrained embedded video applications. Linux driver support for ARM platforms additionally to standard x86 systems allows platform solutions using Intel’s IXP4xx ARM/XScale network communication processors family.
