Top performance in super-small design

Matsushita is claiming its UZB is the world’s smallest integrated photoelectric sensor. It measures just 14.5 by 10 by 3.5mm, and is available in through beam or diffuse types.

The light-ON or dark-ON through beam type offers a range up to 500mm, and can detect opaque objects as small as 1mm in diameter. The diffuse version offers fixed focus sensing in the range 2 to 25mm, and can detect objects as small as 0.1mm in diameter.
