Weston has signed a multi-million pound long-term agreement with BE Aerospace to provide precision aircraft seat components for its Spectrum product family.

Lancashire-based

Weston EU

has announced a further multi million pound deal to add to the £100 million

record contract

it sealed with Rolls-Royce on July 20.

Weston has signed a long-term agreement with aircraft cabin interiors company BE Aerospace to provide precision aircraft seat components for its Spectrum product family.

To fulfil the contract, Weston will make a multi million pound investment in the creation of Weston SEA, a new wholly owned company in Thailand. The initial investment includes 14 multi-axis machining centres in a plant which also features a fully integrated resident material supplier.

Weston said the contract provides a strong platform for further growth in the region and provides BE Aerospace with management, engineering and manufacturing support direct from the UK.
