Bahrain-based investment firm Arcapita Bank has sold its one-third stake in wind farm portfolio Zephyr Investments for £145m.
The stake was divided equally between Infracapital Partners and a subsidiary of an unnamed investment company advised by JPMorgan Asset Management.
Zephyr has a portfolio of 17 wind farms in the UK with a combined capacity of 391MW. This represents 20 per cent of the installed wind power capacity in the UK.
Arcapita, which reported an income of $285.7m for the 18 months ending June 30, had held its stake in Zephyr since 2004.
