Wright Flow Technologies, formerly Johnson Pumps, has announced a new range of self-priming compressed air driven hygienic diaphragm pumps (AODDs) meeting the strict hygiene requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industries. The Dominator pumps are suitable for high-viscosity materials such as jam, sauces and curds and handle the pumped material gently. All wetted parts are in polished stainless steel AISI 316 and the non-wetted parts are in chem-nickelled aluminium. Clamp bands and wing nuts on the inlet and outlet pipes allow rapid dissembly, cleaning and reassembly.
