Since Stewart Milne Construction won the contract to develop the complex in 2006, Acergy has increased its headcount by 25 per cent.
The bespoke site currently houses 600 staff and has the capacity to accommodate 800.
The office design centres around two glass atriums and includes a leisure complex and catering facilities to accommodate the increased workforce.
The 17-acre site also incorporates a number of environmental features, including daylight and movement sensitive lighting controls, grey water harvesting, passive chilled beam cooling and a geothermal heat source system.
Bill Imlach, managing director of Stewart Milne Construction, said: ‘This has been an extremely significant project for Stewart Milne Construction.
‘By working in tandem with our colleagues in Stewart Milne Developments, we have been wholly involved in all aspects of the design and build, from inception to completion.
‘In particular, we welcomed the opportunity to innovate, especially in terms of incorporating the sustainable aspects and environmentally friendly systems that were key to delivering a successful campus for Acergy.
‘This is a flagship project in which we are proud to have been involved.’
