Langley Alloys has sold its bronze alloy castings business,
Meighs Castings, to
MetalTek International,
Wisconsin.
The divestment is said to allow Langley Alloys to focus on wrought corrosion-resistant alloys. Other materials in its product range include stainless steel alloys, high strength bronze and nickel-copper alloys.
In addition to the sale, the company has also announced it will soon be relocating to a custom-built metals distribution centre in Staffordshire.
Meighs, however, will remain in Stoke-on-Trent with the same management team.
