Maintaining training
VEGA has secured a three-year contract from Defence Equipment & Support to continue supporting three training systems based at the Defence College of Aeronautical Engineering.

) to continue supporting three training systems based at the Defence College of Aeronautical Engineering (DCAE).
Under the terms of the £585,000 contract, VEGA will continue to provide ongoing maintenance and support for the Aircraft Propulsions Systems Trainer (APST), Avionics Systems Trainer (AST) and Compass and Vertical Reference Systems Trainer (CVRST). VEGA will also deliver any modifications to the trainers that are identified.
In 1996 VEGA supplied the DCAE at RAF Cosford with a computer-based desktop AST. Since 2004, VEGA has provided a series of upgrades for the system, and was previously awarded a £330,000 contract to upgrade the DCAE’s AST in November 2007.
