Nederman’s Flawless NEX Arms
All Nederman NEX arms will include a redesigned stainless steel extraction hood from November.
The improved design eliminates the need for edge protection. This minimises the risk of injury and also removes a potential “dirt trap”, for better hygiene and easier cleaning. The hood material has also been upgraded to a higher surface finish stainless steel (ASTM 316L).
“We’re continuously improving product design,” said Mark Hodgens, Nederman’s Managing Director. “These details make a big difference in performance, safety and ease of maintenance.”
NEX Arms are designed for working in environments with explosive fumes, vapours or dust and hygienic environments where large airflows are required, such as pharmaceutical, food processing or chemical applications. The range includes single earthed (via hose helix) or double earthed models for use in Zones 22D and 21D respectively. A full range of compatible accessories are available too whilst Nederman’s in-house projects division offers national coverage for site surveys, design specification, installation and aftersales support.
