Alfie - the Time Machine
Alfie, the portable centrifugal separation system from Alfa Laval, has dramatically slashed the time needed to clean and recycle cutting fluids at the Witton plant of TIMET - the world’s largest supplier of high quality titanium products - completing in just 10 minutes a process that, previously, took up to 24 hours. Alfie is fully mobile and, once wheeled into position and connected to a power source, is ready to start work immediately. TIMET were so impressed with Alfie that they are in the process of purchasing an additional machine,the Alfie 500.
