Alpine F1 Team and AtkinsRéalis partner to drive innovation and talent
BWT Alpine Formula One Team and AtkinsRéalis are partnering to develop talent, share knowledge, and deliver practical solutions for complex engineering challenges.
BWT Alpine Formula One Team is an organisation that is driving forward innovation in a highly advanced technical domain, said Chris Ball, UK & Ireland president for AtkinsRéalis.
“Both organisations have significant expertise of engineering in high performance environments, from the world-class application of data analysis by BWT Alpine Formula One Team to AtkinsRéalis’ knowledge of aerodynamic design and engineering in aerospace or the design and operational performance of nuclear power plants.
"When combined, (these) will assist BWT Alpine Formula One Team in identifying and amplifying any marginal gains.”
Ball added that the partnership will also explore how AtkinsRéalis' experience of infrastructure sustainability and energy efficiency can be applied to logistics and operational management or support to the F1 team’s wider environmental goals.
Engineering academy
Ian L. Edwards, president and CEO, AtkinsRéalis said the partnership will also create a relationship ‘where seasoned engineers and rising talent can grow together’.
