Aviall secures Sisu Services

News

Aviall, a wholly owned subsidiary of Boeing, has reached an agreement to acquire certain assets of Sisu Services, a supplier of aircraft brake and wheel services, parts and technical information. Terms of the transaction have not been released.

Sisu Services, based in Crown Point, Indiana, will operate as an independent business unit of Aviall Product Repair Services beginning today, April 16, 2007. The acquisition is said to support Aviall's growth strategy by expanding opportunities for high value services and parts sales.

Sisu Services, founded in 1985, is a provider of brake and wheel services for hundreds of corporate operators, FBOs, charter services and private aircraft owners. The company has 16 employees and serves customers in 42 US states.
