Birthday celebration

75 years after Johan Ernst Nyrop founded what is now GEA Niro, the company is still going strong, innovating and looking forward to a bright future. Mr Nyrop invented and patented the rotary atomiser in 1924, but it was not until 10 November 1933 that he founded the company that would bring the new technology to the world. Today, GEA Niro has developed the rotary atomiser and associated technology such as spray dryers, fluid beds and freeze dryers to become vital technology for the food, dairy, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
