Boeing offers ‘better’ GPS

Boeing has submitted its proposal to the US Air Force for the development and production of up to 12 GPS III satellites.

The US Air Force is still in the process of selecting a source for the new programme and plans to launch the first constellation of satellites in mid-2013.
