BRAMMER recognises outstanding innovation by NSK and Nestle, at its glittering awards ceremony

Hosted by motoring journalist and TV presenter Quentin Willson, BRAMMER presented outstanding and real examples of how BRAMMER and its suppliers use their combined expertise and knowledge to deliver significant cost savings and production efficiency improvements to customers in the MRO marketplace.
Attended by 300 guests at London’s magnificent Science Museum, the Awards were presented, jointly, to BRAMMER’s customers and suppliers in recognition of their innovative solutions.
The UKs leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products presented a specific award to Nestle and NSK:
Water ingress on one of NESTLE’S Sweet conveyors was causing crystallisation of sugar on the equipment, with the subsequent result being frequent breakdowns as the machine became clogged up; a loss of production and increasing frequency of required maintenance intervals.
Further to a comprehensive site evaluation, and presentations to the customer, NSK’s Molded Oil Bearings inserts in stainless steel housings were specified. The Molded Oil acts as a barrier to ingress of sugar and water and with superior lubrication and requires no wash out.
