The extended 847T range of butterfly valves has vastly improved sealing performance and strength, and minimal torque under hazardous conditions. It is suitable for use with corrosive acids, steam and brines, as well as cooking oils, cooling water systems and vehicle paints. A unique seat construction ensures no mechanical bond between the rubber seat support and the Teflon lining, eliminating problems of separation and high or variable torque caused by expansion of the lining. The valves have a seamless construction with a minimumTeflon thickness of 3mm.
