ABB has received an order from the China Oil and Natural Gas Company, for an AC800F Control System to operate an 80,000 ton per year styrene production facility.
The control system, which will be provided by ABB China, will consist of two pairs of AC800F redundant controllers, six operator workplaces and one engineer workplace. The engineer workplace can also serve as an operator workplace. The control system will process approximately 3,000 I/O.
