. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Clarity's purchase of Synelec assets, a business with $30 million in reported revenue in 2004, includes its headquarters facility in southwestern France and approximately 70 employees, increasing Clarity's total number of employees to 185 worldwide.
The purchase adds over 1,200 display system installation sites around the globe to Clarity's installed customer base which includes NASDAQ in
"This acquisition expands our market share globally and allows us to aggressively penetrate the high end control room markets where Synelec has been so successful-in transportation, telecommunications and utilities," said Paul Gulick, chief executive officer of Clarity.
