What’s more, changes that designers make in their 3D CAD model in the Designer Modeling package are updated within ANSYS Workbench.
CoCreate’s newly available .NET API paved the way for extending the 3D CAD environment of Designer Modeling to the ANSYS Workbench environment.
Digital simulation software is growing on the desktop as more engineers analyze products for real-world conditions while they design. This trend toward “everyday analysis” -- where digital simulation occurs as part of the daily design process - benefits companies by providing better product quality, reduced prototyping costs and faster realization of optimal designs.
ANSYS will offer the integration starting with the 13.20 version of OneSpace Designer Modeling from CoCreate and ANSYS 10.0.
