Expanding Mexican oil reserves

ICA Fluor, jointly owned by Fluor and Empresas ICA, has signed a contract as part of a consortium for services at PEMEX’s Chicontepec oil field.
Under the contract, ICA Fluor will provide the engineering, procurement and construction services for the surface infrastructure and production facilities of the onshore oil field, which is located 250km northeast of
ICA Fluor holds a 29 per cent interest in the contract, the total value of which is $1.4bn. The project is scheduled to last for four years.
