Finley Structures switched to ESAB’s OK Autrod 12.64

Prior to the introduction of the Construction Products Directive (CPD) structural steel fabricator, Finley Structures, was using conventional 18kg reels of wire which needed to be changed every other day. They have now switched to ESAB’s OK Autrod 12.64, a coppercoated Mn-Si alloyed G4Si1/ER70S-6 solid wire for GMAW of non-alloyed steels. It produces high-strength welds with low spatter and a good weld profile, and is already CE marked to comply with the CPD.
