John Crane, a division of Smiths Group, has sealed over £37m in ‘first fit’ services for a variety of international projects in the petrochemicals and oil industry.

In addition, John Crane has secured £69.5m in potential aftermarket contracts. Around £35.3m will come from supplier agreements to provide mechanical system and reliability services to global oil, gas and chemical companies.
Paul Cox, president of John Crane, said: ‘First fit orders for our products provide ideal opportunities for John Crane to gain value from all products in the aftermarket through our extensive global sales and service footprint.’
Aftermarket and maintenance services comprise around two-thirds of John Crane’s total revenue.
