Alfa Laval has introduced its first FrontLine 15 sanitary plate heat exchanger developed specifically or heat transfer duties in the liquid foods and beverage markets. The new unit has been sized to provide 70 per cent more capacity than existing sanitary PHEs. The FrontLine 15 can process up to 100,000 litres if liquids pre hour yet still achieve 94 per cent heat recovery efficiency, making ti ideal for the new breed of giant food processing plants.
