The government introduced the ECA scheme to enable companies to
claim extra tax breaks when they chose to purchase energy efficient
equipment. As the full range of Grundfos MGE motors are now
approved, this means all Grundfos pumps fitted with MGE motors
now qualify for this scheme and that the full cost of any related
investment can be reclaimed as tax relief in Year One. Additionally,
Grundfos, unlike their competitors, have taken the decision not to
charge customers a premium for products fitted with these highly
