BSKYB has launched a wireless audio receiver that allows users to listen to their Sky digital radio or television channels anywhere around the home.
BSKYB has launched a wireless audio receiver that allows users to listen to their Sky digital radio or television channels anywhere around the home.
The device, called the Sky Gnome, is scheduled to launch in October.
It has a range of 30m, eight hours of listening time and is compatible with all Sky boxes.
The product is a bid by the pay-TV giant to extend the reach of its digital broadcasting technology beyond the living room.
The Gnome features stereo sound and an LCD display with full channel and programme information.
