Haas Launches HTEC Website
Zaventem, Belgium. March 1st, 2009: Haas Automation Europe is delighted to announce that its new HTEC (Haas Technical Education Centre) website goes live on March 2nd, 2009.
The HTEC website (www.HTECnetwork.eu) has been designed to support and inform existing HTECs with details of events, news, partner information and everything they need to know about the growing HTEC network. The site will also provide potential HTECs with details of why they should join what is arguably the most innovative CNC education program in the history of European manufacturing.
The new site will include dates of forthcoming HTEC launches and apprentice skills competitions and will give details of Haas machines used in typical HTECs, such as the SL-10 CNC turning centre and the Haas Mini Mill; the CNC machining centre that democratized precision metal cutting.
Another area of the site honours HTEC strategic technology partners working with Haas and its HFOs to make the HTEC vision a reality. Companies including Renishaw, KELLER, Blaser, Urma, Esprit, Chick. MasterCAM, Sandvik and Schunk are supporting HTECs by providing the best manufacturing technology and teaching material that the industry has to offer.
