As part of its strategy to offer the highest service quality, HBM now provides torque calibration for a maximum of up to 60kN.m torque. This allows HBM’s DKD-accredited laboratory at Dramstadt, Germany, to calibrate transducers up to a length of 2.2m and a maximum diameter of 75cm. The size means that HBM can also calibrate special transducers, such as original vehicle shafts that have been retrofitted for torque measurement by installing strain gauges.
