In industries where hygiene is of paramount importance such as life science sectors, accurate and reliable level measurement can often be a problem due to changing density or conductivity of the product. Here, guided radar is ideal for the application conditions but often fails in terms of hygiene requirements.
Not any more! The new Levelflex M FMP43 has been specially designed to combat both these factors. As you’d expect from a guided radar device, Levelflex M FMP43 offers accurate and reliable measurement independent of process conditions such as density, conductivity, temperature changes (CIP/SIP), product foaming and even use of spray balls. However, it also performs on the hygiene front with its easy-to-clean electropolished surfaces to Ra=0.38um in compliance with ASME BPE. With its stainless steel probe and elastomer seals, there’s no probe discolouration, diffusion or undetected gaps. And, with easily exchangeable probes, process connections and O-rings, it offers true flexibility for engineering and operation in terms of maintenance and stock holding.
