IEEM Medal has been awarded to Professor Charles
The Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM) Medal has been awarded to Professor Charles Gimingham for his pioneering research and practice in heathland ecology. Charles is an internationally respected ecologist with over 60 years experience, and just as his research, books and emphasis on practical ecological management were pioneering, so was his approach to teaching. Professor Emeritus Charles Henry Gimingham OBE is a most worthy recipient of the IEEM Medal.
