Kitagawa is selected to supply a European automotive manufacturer

Kitagawa has been selected to supply a European automotive manufacturer with a series of complex 4th and 5th axis workholding packages for precise component location, clamping and indexing. This will complement the upgrading of four Korean-built vertical machining centres used to machine aluminium HGV road wheels. Built and tested by Kitagawa’s in the UK, the units were installed incountry by Kitagawa Korea. Subsequently, engineers from Kitagawa Europe commissioned and fine tuned the equipment on site at the customer’s manufacturing plant in Hungary.
