Last chance to put your entry forward for the 2023 C2I Awards

The Engineer's eighth annual Collaborate To Innovate (C2I) awards closes for entries at midnight on Friday 6th October.

Now in its eighth year, C2I was launched to uncover and celebrate great examples of engineering collaboration – a dynamic critical to addressing many of the challenges and problems faced by society.

The competition is open to innovative technology led projects which are underpinned by collaboration between two or more separate organisations and which have had, or are likely to have, a positive impact in their area of application.

Entries are invited from projects addressing challenges across nine categories, including automotive; aerospace, defence and security; information, data and connectivity; healthcare and medical; energy and environment; and manufacturing technology.

This year’s competition also features two categories focused on the next generation of engineers: Young Innovator (a special category for school student engineering projects) and STEM Initiative (a new category set up to champion efforts to inspire young people to consider a career in engineering).

Entries will be judged by a panel of industry leaders including Alan Newby, director of aerospace technology and future programmes at Rolls-Royce;  Abbie Hutty – Lead Systems Engineer, ispace Europe SA, Sue Simmonite - Global Project Management & Control Director, BAE Systems and  Dr Rachel Bishop  - Deputy Director of research base, UKRI

The closing date for entries is midnight on Friday 6th October and the winners will be revealed at a drinks reception on the evening of Thursday 29th February 2024 at One Great George Street, London.
