NEW MODULAR INSTRUMENTATION FOR THE AUTOMOTIVE AND MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY

Well established in the Autosport and Motor Racing arena, Stack have launched a new range of products for use in the Automotive and general manufacturing industries. Stack is a leading global supplier of Instrumentation, Data Acquisition systems and Video-logging solutions.

MODULAR DATA ACQUISITION FOR TEST & DEVELOPMENT

Stack offers a range of ruggedised compact modules which allow great flexibility of data acquisition, alarm monitoring, display and analysis for a wide variety of physical parameters. Vehicle applications include: brake system development, chassis monitoring, drive/power train evaluation and durability/validation testing.

These systems will permit on-board datalogging, CANBus links or remote telemetry. Acquired data can be displayed real-time, used to trigger an alarm state or downloaded to Datapro, a sophisticated Windows based software package for further analysis.

RUGGEDISED MPEG-2 DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER (DVR)

Designed specifically for use in harsh environments, this compact high quality solid state video recorder is ideal for use in Automotive testing and Engineering or machine monitoring applications. The DVR employs broadcast quality MPEG-2 video compression to record high quality real-time video and audio direct to a PC flash card. Stored data is easily transferred to a PC or media player for viewing.

The DVR is housed in a ruggedised sealed enclosure and has no moving parts other than the door for the flash card. A high-resolution bullet camera completes the system. Video output and data acquired using other Stack modules can be synchronized within the Datapro software package.
