Lee-Dickens has launched a single channel variable area (VA) flowmeter alarm unit suitable for use with a wide range of VA flow meters including models
supplied by Emerson and Yokogowa. The BU191 sensor and alarm system is configurable and can be used to alert engineers to low or high gas flow conditions. The SIL2 /IEC 61508 rated system can easily be fitted retrospectively and used to monitor the flow of any type of gas.
