Manufacturing equipment complements subcontracting show

With more than 200 exhibitors already lined up, Subcon 2009, which takes place from 9 to 11 June at the NEC, Birmingham, will give visitors an unrivalled chance to review their sourcing strategies for subcontract manufacturing. Complementing this comprehensive range of subcontracting exhibitors, Subcon 2009 also sees the introduction of a new added-value feature for visitors, the Manufacturing Equipment and Materials (MEM) Zone.

Following research into the purchasing and specification responsibilities of visitors to previous Subcon shows, the MEM zone was created to showcase complementary products and services that they also have direct procurement responsibility for.

For exhibitors it offers the opportunity to present their products in a context where visitors are actively reviewing their sourcing strategies and make/buy decisions, and are known to have a need for those products.

Exhibits include machine tools and tooling, metrology and calibration technology, metalforming equipment, water jet cutting and laser profiling machines, printing and labelling systems, finishing, vacuum casting equipment and positioning systems.
