Mechan launches slim-line magnetic safety switch
Mechan Controls has announced that a new, slim-line version of its MAGNASAFE MS6 machine guard safety interlock system is now available. Originally sold in only stainless steel, the new model is manufactured in ABS plastic and both switch and actuator are just 19mm wide. The switch itself is 17mm high but, despite its small size, the MS6 now comes with up to three contacts, which helps to improve safety and minimise unnecessary stoppages.
