Nuclear Engineering Services (NESL) of Ettingshall, Wolverhampton has secured a contract from NUKEM Limited to supply specialist safety critical equipment to permit the safe handling of spent fuel assemblies into special containers during the decommissioning of two reactors at the nuclear power station at Ignalina in Lithuania. NESL has extensive experience in the nuclear industry through its OEM status for nuclear power stations and the supply of equipment and services to the decommissioning market.
