With the introduction of a new quick-release, hydraulic connector Boltight Ltd has taken the upper operating pressure limit for its hydraulic bolt tensioners and hydraulic nuts to 2500 bar (37,000psi). The benefits of this innovation in the oil and gas, process and power generation industries is higher load and more cost effective bolt tightening using bolt tensioners and hydraulic nuts on applications previously considered marginal.
