New warehouse allows next day motor delivery

Campbell Electric Motors of Ireland has moved into a new 6,000 sq ft warehouse in Dublin, capable of holding 2,500 motors. The new facility makes Campbell’s the largest stockist of electric motors in Ireland and allows next day delivery throughout Ireland, as well as same day service in the event of an emergency breakdown.

As an ABB Motor Service Partner (MSP), the company carries the full range of ABB low voltage motors, of 2, 4, 6 and 8 pole, from 0.09kw to up to 315kW, including explosion proof motors up to 45kW. Standard motors not in stock can be delivered to customers within seven days.  Says Director Bob Campbell: “We have sold ABB motors for 12 years and regard them as a premium product. They are reliable and arguably the best motors available and are popular with our customers”.

The company’s wide customer base includes end users in the pharmaceutical, mining and quarrying industries as well as HVAC users – end users and OEM’s. It specialises in providing modification of motors to suit customer requirements, including providing different paint finishes to suit users’ own colour schemes or to provide for corrosive atmospheres. Campbell Electric Motors can also modify frames by changing the frame between foot mounting and flange mounting to suit the application, add thermistors for protection or heaters to allow operation in damp areas.
