November 1st, 2007. Foston, Derby. Andrew Fulton, Managing Director of Derby based OGP UK, is pleased to announce the recent formation of Rapid Techniques Ltd., established to distribute and to support US built ZCorporation 3D printing products.
Drawing on OGP UK’s success in the country’s precision engineering industry, the new, autonomous company will market ZCorp 3D printing products to mechanical and industrial design customers across a wide range of sectors, from automotive and aerospace to medical and consumer products.
“This is a great opportunity for all concerned,” says Mr. Fulton. “Z Corporation develops, manufactures, and markets the world’s fastest 3D printers - machines that produce handheld models quickly and easily. We’re very excited about the new venture, especially as it coincides with the launch of the new ZPrinter 450.”

To celebrate both the formation of the new company and also the launch of the ZPrinter®450, Rapid Techniques will offer a free, 3D printed part to each company that submits a CAD model*
“The only way for a product designer to fully appreciate part quality and how fast the 450 can print a component is to see for himself,” says Mr. Fulton. “We will print a customer’s part free of charge and with no obligation.”
Z Corporation 3D Printers are the fastest commercially available 3D printers, up to 5-10 x faster than other RP technologies. A part can be printed at the rate of 25mm vertical per hour. In addition, multiple parts can be printed simultaneously resulting in increased throughput.
