Pressurex® is a thin sensor film that instantaneously captures and permanently records pressure distribution and magnitude between any two contacting surfaces. As force is exerted upon it, Pressurex® changes colour in proportion to the pressure applied – conceptually similar to Litmus paper. Pressurex® is easy to use, pre-calibrated and economical. Common applications include: Bolted Joints, Gasketed Interfaces, Clamping, Lamination, Nip Rolls, Presses, Heat Sealing and Ultrasonic Welding.
