Under the contract, Prysmian will supply and install high voltage cables and systems for the facility, which is under construction in
Prysmian will provide 22km of 400kV cable (one cable circuit, interconnection between Transco network in Taweelah and EMAL smelter) and 20km of 220kV cables (21 cable circuits, connections within EMAL smelter).
The cable connections are scheduled for delivery between the end of 2008 and January 2010.
