Ransomes Jacobsen has installed a new pre-treatment process

Turf maintenance equipment manufacturer, Ransomes Jacobsen, has installed a new pre-treatment process which provides superior corrosion resistance to the finished product while reducing the environmental impact of their paint system at their Ipswich-based manufacturing plant. Ransomes Jacobsen is a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company. By replacing the former zinc phosphate pre-treatment process with Chemetall’s Oxsilan nanoscale technology. Ransomes Jacobsen have made significant gains in paint quality whilst, at the same time, diminishing the effect on the environment.
