Raytheon has been awarded an initial instalment of $27m to provide satellite communications (SATCOM) terminals for a Space and Naval Warfare Systems contract that could reach a value of $38m.
Under the contract, Raytheon Network Centric Systems will deliver nine extremely high frequency follow-on terminals to the US Navy.
Raytheon will continue to provide mission support services as part of an existing Navy SATCOM engineering services contract.
Last month, the navy also awarded Raytheon a contract for the Navy Multiband Terminal.
