Regional, a fully owned subsidiary of Air France, has signed a $189 million contract for the purchase of six Embraer 190 LR aircraft with options for six more of the same aircraft.

These airplanes, valued $189 million at list prices, replace an existing order for seven ERJ 145s.
Embraer said in a statement that deliveries will commence in the first quarter of 2007. The aircraft will be configured in a single class cabin layout seating 100 passengers.
