SGB chosen for new bridge construction

The new bridge over the River Don, part of the Sheffield inner ring-road system which will relieve traffic in and around the busy City centre, was constructed using SGB’s Multiform Parapet Brackets – a cantilever formwork system designed to speed up the construction of in-situ concrete bridge decks. SGB has worked closely with the construction team for the last 24 months to ensure, as sole suppliers of formwork on the project, that all runs precisely to schedule. The single span steel bridge will be completed in June 2006
