SheCanEngineer announced as charity partner for 2024 C2I Awards

Diversity, equity and inclusion charity SheCanEngineer has been unveiled as charity partner for The Engineer’s 2024 Collaborate To Innovate Awards.

Formed in 2016, SheCanEngineer brings together volunteers from across the professional engineering institutions and beyond to encourage and promote gender diversity in engineering by showcasing the accomplishments of female engineers, raising awareness around issues relating to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), and promoting engineering to children.

Commenting on the charity’s support for this year’s awards, SheCanEngineer’s Laura Hoang said: "SheCanEngineer are proud to be a Charity Partner for The Engineer's Collaborate to Innovate Awards. Equity, Diversity and Inclusion are core to collaboration and innovation and we are very excited to be involved in these awards, and to celebrate the amazing achievements of the incredible engineering teams."

Jon Excell Editor of The Engineer added: “As these awards have regularly demonstrated, the most successful and innovative engineering projects often have diverse teams at their heart and we’re delighted to be working with SheCanEngineer to amplify that important message!”
