Siemens intends to take over 100 per cent of the company’s shares, subject to the approval of relevant authorities.
Morgan Construction has designed and installed more than 450 rod, bar and billet mills in more than 40 countries worldwide. In 2006, it reported sales of $180m, and employed around 1,100 people in the
Siemens’ VAI Metals Technologies, which is headquartered in Linz, Austria, will be responsible for Morgan Construction when it becomes integrated into Siemens Industrial Solutions and Services division.
