The Siemens PG scope of supply encompasses three gas turbines, two steam turbines, and the associated electrical, and instrumentation and control equipment. Commercial operation is scheduled for May 2008. The plant will then have an installed capacity of approximately 1000 MW and the seawater desalination plant supplied by Doosan will produce approximately 27,500 cubic metres of drinking water daily.
