Spirax Sarco’s energy saving expertise has helped Cova Products slash steam consumption by 35 per cent over two years. Spirax Sarco installed a flash steam recovery system to capture the steam before passing it through two plate heat exchangers to preheat the feed to the boiler. Spirax Sirco also reviewed the site’s maintenance program to reveal potential savings of £90,000 a year and replaced steam traps with more efficient thermodynamic traps.
