Cheshire, UK, 16th September 2008: Jewellery designers and manufacturers will find plenty of reasons to attend this year’s TCT Conference & Exhibition at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, 21/22nd October 2008.
Like all businesses, the Jewellery sector is very competitive, so keeping abreast with new technology is vital. During this two-day event there will be a range of exhibits showcasing the very latest technologies that can be utilised in the jewellery and high-value goods sector. Complementing the exhibition is a free of charge Technology for Jewellery Seminar Day, on October 22nd, with presentations from renowned experts in the industry.
The seminar day is supported by the Goldsmiths’ Company and the Jewellery Industry Innovation Centre at Birmingham City University. It will be chaired by Peter Taylor, Director Technology & Training at the Goldsmiths’ Company and will also feature presentations from Frank Cooper and Gay Penfold of the JICC. Founder and Head of Design at Pheonix Designs, Fei Liu, will also present with a paper entitled, ‘The Impact of Technology on the Jewellery Sector.’
